That`s what it seems to be all about, action now rather than after the fact, to keep us from getting wiped off the planet.
But what do I know.....I`m just a Canadian!

But Morris, if theres nothing threatening us off of the planet, theres no reason to take action! Theres nothing to take action against!

That would be like me walking down the street, going up to a sketchy looking guy, punching him in the face, because he could have possibly maybe robbed me or someone else.

Remember 9/11? That was a big mother of a hint.....And it was alot more than just a sketchy looking guy punching first.
Not that I keep up with it but it`s hard to miss when hundreds of people all over the universe get killed yearly by terrorists.
This isn`t to say I approve of what`s happening, just my thoughts of possibly why certain actions have to be taken to protect today`s free world.

9/11 is a totally different ballgame Morris, we dont live in america. America was having problems with terrorists long before that. We however dont have that problem at all.

i think sharing a border/economy with the US sort of makes us share the terrorist problem. if the US all of a sudden became under terrorism rule, we'd have a real problem!! better to be safe than sorry.

My feeling is that it`s a big mistake to think that we`re immune and separate from the rest of the world, we`re an easy target. The last part of this vid shows what these guys are capable of: click on the burnoutinternational.wmv link

Guess thats where freedom of speech comes in, and we will have to agree to disagree.

My thoughts too....
I`ll have to go with Sherm`s idea that we agree to disagree, it`s really off topic any way.
