Power Door Locks
my 1993 f150 4x4 has a problem with the power door locks, the keyless entry pad unlocks the driver side door, but the switch on the drivers side will not, and you can't use a key on the outside to unlock the door, and the passenger side switch will unlock it. also the switch on the drivers side will lock the door. the switch is plugged in and i can find no problems with it. any help is appreciated

It sounds like one of the switches is bad. I had a similar problem a couple years ago. I just replaced all 5 switches so that I wouldn't have to fool with it anymore. It sounds like the driver side door switch is bad. As for the key not working in the door I would say that maybe the electric door lock actuator is bad or about to go out. It sould also just be bound up or maybe the linkage to it is bent. If your truck has recently been broken into or pop a lock unlocked it that could be what happened.
