Help with mods

My 94 7.3L DI is bone stock. I don't have much money but im looking to do a few mod's to it. 1) a chip 2) exhaust What would you all recommend for the best price. I guess ill also need the gauges as well but I don’t know a thing about what I need or the names of what they are. If anyone could help that would be great

since you have a 94 (stick) get a two pod pillar, boost gauge and pyrometer.
beans diesel performance has packages.

or just pick some on ebay if you can get a good deal. autometer makes great pods(and gauges) for our trucks that look like factory.

good install write up

fleetfilter.com for the 46637 air filter.

tymarperformance has a great exhaust.

you can make a great intake for 60 bucks.

TS perf has great chips for a low price.

I have to say if I had to do the exhaust and intake again; for the money I spent, and having the time I'd piece it together myself. But all aside, I got the most performance out of:
1. the intake mod.
2. clean the filter screen thing
3. better downpipe
4. A non-bullybankedge chip (dp tuner (Jody) and Tony Wildman are the ones I found splattered all over this site.)
5. egauges.com
6. saving money for wearable parts such as: brakes, tires, shocks, bearings, bushings, drivetrain parts, oil, filters, tools, fuel, rent and food...
7. TJ max for the human wearable clothing varieties

What I did was to search this site and web till' I lost brain cells from reading and clicking through the scattered mass of info. Mods are all on this site in some fashion.

"Wants vs. needs" is what I have learned to say to myself after spending thousands on non-wife approved stuff. But women are just fun governors anyhow.
