Glue
The previous owner of my truck had the bright idea to cover the dash with tweed. I removed it. What would be the best way to remove the glue that is left behind? I am going to paint the dash after I get the glue off. Could I sand it off or would acetone or a solvent be better? Thanks.

If you are going to paint it... i'd use acetone... it might fade the dash but who cares if your getting ready to paint. If the paint is nice and ahrd you can sand it off too... depends on what kind of glue they used, some of that crap stays kind slimey.
