Hi , I'm getting exhuast in the cab through my heating system.I only get it when I turn on vent system and most noticable when stopped idling.
I've heard it might have something to do with vacuam hoses??
Its a 93F250 diesel 7.3 auto. 2WD 255,000km
The exhaust system is new as is the vacuam pump. The serpentine belt squeals a little when warming up but thats it.
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated as a breath or two of fresh air.
It would seem you would have to have an exhaust leak for there to be exhaust under the hood where it could be pulled into the heater. Are you sure there is no leak at the exhaust manifold somewhere?
