What a POS! Those are some of the worst looking headers I have ever seen in my life. There are rednecks everywhere offended that a place called Redneck Mechanix tarnished their good name by selling those.

What proof do you have that they make power? Look at the tube layout. Look at the bends. Look at the shoddy pipe fitting. Why would you buy something that looks like that when you can buy a decent set of headers designed and built by a reputable company for not much more? Those are an absolute joke. The only design that went into those was how to get the pieces from the scrap bin to all meet up in the same place.

Talking

Bern...I respectfully disagree. It would be an improvement IF they looked like crap.

Yup, I've seen crap. These are nowhere near that good.
I really like the 90* bend welded on #6, where it meets the collector.......
Ceramic coated with VHT Flameproof (paint). Classic.

Did anyone else notice that the poster of this thread is also the seller of the item? So you were looking for a new down pipe and came across your own add? I think there should be a rule agaist someone trying to unload their crap on the members of this forum.

I noticed he was also the seller. I also noticed he hasn't been back to FTE since he posted in this thread.

In another thread he was boasting of his over 400 hp 300 that had twin turbos, an aluminum head, bored .050 over with a racing crank and cam. Sounds like a typical hillbilly idiot.

I'm sure that anyone that is that good at re-engineering a 300 would certainly have the dyno slips to back up the power claims and post them here for all to see.
