Sweeet. Still looks like more than I would need. My engine rarely makes it past 3,000 rpms.

I would think a simple shorty header would sell well.

Does anyone know of a source for 3/8 laser cut FE flanges. I am quite handy with making headers from scratch. I could always throw together a set of shortys and see what you guys think. Any pictures, suggestions, deminsions you gurus have would be beneficial.

I have a set of Sanderson headers on my 390... They work great. They aren't cheap though.

That looks interesting, Mr. Odie. That would free up #4, and not get hung up on the engine perch, and should be cooler for the started too.

I see it now, those side ways bolt holes should have been a dead give away.

Maybe someone will try making something like that for the FE. It shouldn't be hard to make some that are an improvement over the logs but not compete with real headers. lol
