Intermittent Dead Batteries
Our 2003 F350 Diesel has developed an annoying intermittent problem. In the morning, after 12 hours or so of not running, the batteries are dead. As stated, this is an intermittent problem. The dealer could not duplicate it; of course it didn't happen while they had it a few days. In the last three days I had to put the boost charger on it twice to start it. This morning it was fine. I have checked for current flow with all equipment off and could detect none. The batteries have been checked by myself and the dealer and they are fine. Your thoughts please. Tom

Welcome to FTE Tom. If the batteries are checking good then it sounds like a connection problem. Have you double checked the cable connections for corrosion? Don't forget to check both ends of the cable. A corroded ground on the block can cause that type of problem.
