its most likely the vss sensor on the rear pumpkin also known as the rear abs sensor. it costs about $11 at napa. real easy to change. shouldn't be a problem to drive till you can pick up the part.

Edit: Napa part # 530780

At 245k, I'd say it's good to go. Maybe treat it to some new juice. I do about every 50k.

with 245K you'll have a fair amount of shavings. But don't be too alarmed. I agree with those who recommended a fluid change. If you have a limited slip rear end, don't forget the friction modifier additive.

If you are concerned with wear, after you change the fluid just check it every 12k or so miles. Personally, I would swap the fluid and forget about it. There are too many other things in life that cause stress. No sense in adding more

At this point I would try to get the codes read - sorry. Is the light blinking in a pattern? It might be trying to give you a code.

I pilled the codes and they came as vss, so I`m at a loss. the blinking is consistent , you know like a drip from a faucet. I reset my dtc`s and all is fine and then it ciomes on.Thinking about it the blinking (probs) happen when I`m backing up, like in my driveway,,,,, thoughts?
