It won't go!
I have an 87 F250 (manual) with a 302. Problem I am having is it will not accelerate. I can not even get it to go more then 30mph. Any suggestions?

Does it feel sluggish, or does it just not want to go?
How does it idle?
Are you trying to get to 30 mph normally, or have you tried revvin high in 2nd, or luggin in 4th?

It has gotten worse over about a weeks time. I put new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Even replace the throttle positioning sensor. None of that made a difference. It idles fine. It's very sluggish. Starting on second like you normally do feels like you are taking off in 4th. It just doesn't want to do it. It doesn't matter what gear, or how high you rev, it just doesn't want to go.

Not yet. I have a hard time finding help and I don't think I am capable of doing it by myself.

Runnin codes is easy. If you follow the instructions slowly, it is pretty simple.

Sounds like your '87 is like mine, cuz the light is supposed to come on for a few seconds when you turn on the key. But as long as you have a timin light you can still do the test
