351 question
so someone offered me a 83 f-250 with a 351 that runs good would it be worth my time to put the 351 and tranny combo in my 302 f-250 or should i keep persuing a new 302. arnt the 351 and 302 blocks almost simmilar its gotta have more power. i should be able to use all the motor mounts and tranny crossmember from the 83 i hope. anyway just throwing that out there.

The 83 should have a 351W and an engine swap is all that is needed. You can swap to the 83 tranny if is different from what you have now and is more desirable to you but not necessary.
