Flashing light on column
A friend of mine has a 2002 f-250 and he says there is a red light flashing constantly on his steering column. I thought is sounded like a anti-theft light but he says it flashes all the time key on or off. Can anyone tell me what it is and why it's flashing?

Yep - sounds like the remains of a remote-start or alarm, or perhaps it is just busted. Could even be a false alarm (only a blinking light, which is always on!) Could pop the column apart and just trace the wires and see where they go.
