I am trying to restore my dads 53 panel truck its been sitting out side for about 30 years and never been moved .Needs a lot of new parts are their parts catalogs that carry panel truck parts mainly for the back doors. Thanks
Panel parts are somewhat hard to come by, just because fewer panels were made. However, a good part resource for 53-56 Ford trucks is Mid Fifty. Call for a free catalog: 1-800-252-1956.
Start a gallerie of pictures so we can see the baby. It also helps answer questions if we can see an area of need. Click on "User CP" in the blue bar at the top of the forum page and follow the instructions under "Edit Gallery". You can post pics from your computer into your own FTE Gallery.
Joe,
Welcome aboard. I have a 1949 panel truck, it's on the back burner, but I got a set of seats for it right after I got it, which is one of the hardest things to get for a panel, besides rear doors. Good luck and post some pictures...

Additionally, one of the more vocal ( and helpful) members of this forum - Axracer - is building a 53-56 panel truck as well, so he will likely be a valuable resource to you.....
