ODB1 connection/ reader
Anyone know what type connection, protocol is used for odb1? Need to make a reader for codes, I figure I could make something where the light blinks. its for a ford 88 350 460 FI,

you can buy a Ford code reader for like 20 bucks. Ford has two main test modes that require a bit of work to acess with a simple paper clip. I could explain the procedures but it would take a lot of typing.

Yeah, I got my code reader at Wal-mart for something like 25 dollars, and it came with a book of codes for a whole bunch of Ford vehicles.
