I really like the aussie stacks but I also really like the straight cut I decided on the straights because no one else seem to run them so I have a defferent look. I would go with the aussies if it were me.
I have 5" mitre cut stacks on my 99 F-350 dually. i got them off of ebay at a place called the Chrome Room. $500 for the full set up, and i also have a tool box mounted in the bed. if you want some pix, just let me know and i can send them to you.
I would like to get the pictures. This forum will not let me send you my e-mail address as I have not been around long enough. I will try and send it please remove the spaces and it will work
I have 6" miter cuts, made by grand rock, picked them up on eBay for about 500 shipped. I love the sound of them, not real noisy with the windows up, crack the rear windows and the sound is unbelievable, I love it, It sounds the best when your out side and hear a 7.3 with stacks driving past!
if it is a dully i would do aussies or bull haulers, they look great on dullys!
I have an F350 singles on the rear, extended cab. Who build the stack kit? I know you said you got it of E-Bay and I have looked at their stack. Do you know if Grand Rock builds the kit? I'm interested if they tuck right into the corners of the bed.

grand rock does make the kit. and it is fully adjustable, the passanger side stack is where you drill your hole in your bed, i set mine in my bed but it where i wanted it and then thats where i drilled my hole, and the driver side is a seperate peice its self, its like an L and you can slide it into the Y as far as you and or keep it out, mine is out a little so it is in the corner, but in more then enough to keep from leaks. keep in mind, if you put them in the corners like I did when you drill your hole you will cut the back bed brace, I did, you can set the stacks farther in the bed to keep from doing that, but i went ahead and cut the brace so that it would set back, cutting the brace will not cause any problems, you have many others. and the installation instructions were very easy to follow!

Ok, I understand why you might have to set it back from the leading edge, I think I will cut the brace as you described. Do the stacks sit up against the out side edge of the bed (right in the corner)?

I just go off the phone with Parley's and I ordered my stack kit. 5" turnouts with internal mufflers and the bed box to cover the "Y" pipe.
They told me the bed brace can be unbolted, turned around and bolted back inplace and it then creates enough clearance so you do not have to cut it.
Now all I have to do is wait for it to arrive, a a day or two of warmer weather to install it. Thanks
yep, i described how to set the stacks in the corners, hmm I wish a knew about turning the bed brace..INTERNAL MUFFLERS! you're crazy!, i got no mufflers or cat! sounds awesome!!!! don;t mind if I ask, but about how much was that cover? I have the tool box but still want the cover, (where im mounting my NOS and porpane tanks) hehe, and meth is already in the tool box so I can't get rid on that.....good luck!

The bed box was expensive but was stainless steel $200.00 I came across cheaper ones $99.00. They also make just a heat shield which I did not like the look.
It will eventually get covered with a tool box. I want to mount a light on it and an actuator inside 4" square tubing so the light will sit on the box when not in use and be just above the roofline when extended.
I really do not want the noise; I drive sometime 12 hours in a day at highway speeds pulling a load.
I have been a hot rodder for years and like that sound, but not in my truck.
haha, I see, what do you haul, the loads won't get black from diesel soot? IM gonna have to look into the 99$ ones, where did you come across them at?
I did not book mark that box, I will look and see if I can find it again.
I haul an enclosed car carrier, and haul custom cars. The trailer will protect the cars from the soot. I should not get much as I have no modifications to the engine.
Speaking of soot, how is your nice white garage cieling doing?
ha ha, yep thats what I have 6" miter cuts straight piped!
wow ss, thats going to be strange psd with stacks and no smoke! hauling cars all day long you need to get dp!
ha ha I have two large round-ish circles on my ceiling and the garage door, from whent he door is open and closed and starting it up, and being lifted and that close to the ceiling!
and the signature thing, I forget how I did that, i'll mess around a lil and see if i can figure it back out
