i got my C6 rebuilt at Pro-Tech transmission on 127th st and Yellowhead last year. reasonably priced, very nice to deal with overall and seems to be holding up good so far (haven't put a ton of miles on it yet). they were recommended to me by Pro-Stock, so they must have a decent rep.
also the Tempo i bought from my brother-in-law had the transmission rebuilt at Lo-Cost on 97th st and around 130th ave. it started to shift funny, took it in within the year warranty even though i wasn't the one who bought it and they fixed it with no questions asked and no cost to me at all (bad governor). put quite a few miles on that tranny and it seemed to hold up very well right up till i got ran into.
that is my experience with 2 rebuild shops.
