OK ,, Im doing a restore on a 79 F-150 larit , frame up. Im haveing the frame powder coated and im going to lift it 4" .. witch kit is most complet? and am I going to have to get drive shafts? skyjacker lift or ???? i would like to buy the kit with everything that i need ... thanks!!!!!!!
From what I know there are no truly complete lift systems for our trucks.
I think the most complete systems I found were from rough country with leafs, coils, shocks, C-bushings, Track drop bar, and shocks, some even came with extended brake lines.
Skyjacker makes some really good stuff, and the kit for our trucks contains Coils and leafs.
Other parts you might need are extended brake lines, drop pitman arms, radius arm drop brackets and a few other things.
I don't think you will need to change your driveshafts on a 4" lift, thats usually a problem when going 6-8+ inches.
If you have any more questions let me know, I'll try to help you out!
