460 intake
i can't believe how heavy that stock intake is. it tipped me off my step stool as i took it off, and leaned me in to the motor and offset my balance. damn is that heavy. it almost killed me. i wish i had the cash for an aluminum intake.

you should try to carry a FE intake around...i carried my mustang's 428 intake about 40' and it almost killed me...then i picked up the aluminum 427 med riser we put on it and wow its like nothing at all.

I had to install the ol lump of iron back on my 429-thought I was gonna sell it, then I smartened up! This spring I hope to reinstall the weind 8012, and hopefully the original rebuilt c9 heads, wake that ol girl up!
Was going to rebuild, but she dont smoke, and still strong-tho #8 has a broken skirt-apparently common for 429's that seen some revs. Hehe, seen a shop manual showing a hoist to remove big block top end parts.
