I'm looking into getting an aftermarket rear bumper and I kinda like the looks of the Road Armor ones. Any opinions? Should I match the dark copper color or go with something else? What do y'all think? All I know at this point is the Co-Op loading bay is reaking havoc on the wimpy bumper now. Thanks for the input.
They're cool and if you're banging the stocker around you may as well get the beefier one. I'm not a fan of the front bumpers, they're just too gnarly for my taste but the rears are great. Matching the paint would be your choice really. I personally wouldn't waste the money making it look good just to scratch and bang it and ruin the paint, you know?

Well the reasoning behind that is that even though I'm banging it around, it would still look unfinished in my mind unless they can do some type of coating on it, I haven't emailed them to get a price quote yet and find out what all they can do.

I haven't heard of them, I'll have to look into that.
Rino or Line-x would be sweet. I don't think those FabFours have the precut holes for lights though (if you need them). Plus I didn't know they're over 900 bucks!
Road Armor's stuff is nice. If you like it check out Alien Patrol also, one of Road Armor's designers left and started his own company. They are very similar. http://www.alien-patrol.com/new/ford.html
While I really like the design of their main bumper struckture, I don't like how far their brush gaurds extend out in front of the hood. My personal favorite bumper, and what I am eventually planning on buying for my truck is the Buckstop Outback, and Buckstops matching rear bumper. I plan on having it sprayed with Black Line-X Xtra to match my bed and toolbox. http://www.buckstop.biz/ford99-03_outback.html
you could always go with a ranch hand bumper. I had them on my old dodge 1500 and it took a direct hit from a forklift hauling a pallet of livestock feed. Going with a fronteir bumper this time, not as stong but it looks better plus allows me to keep my factory hitch. plus they are only like 350 bucks.

I'm just looking for the rear bumper as I like my brush guard and it had taking a direct hit and not one scratch on hit, but I can't say much for the mark truck that came into contact with it. I'll be emailing the company you suggested though and see what they can do and what price they'll quote me.

I had a brush guard from them on my 02 dodge DRW and I liked it alot and it did take a lot of abuse dealing with the pasture gates.
