Hey CIAF, Randy Jack, and Sdeweitl, I'll send your patterns out the day after New Years Day. Our regular mail person is off, and our substitute is Terrible!! I wanted to wait till all the hollidays are over so they wont get lost, and you'll be sure to get them. I drew the Ford crest on the panel in the correct place if you wanted to use it for a speaker grille like I did.
If you do, you just make them out of ABS plastic, and cut out the hole, cover the panel, and taylor out the hole. Then you get some fine screen and paint it black or whatever color you want it to be then use some very short staples to hole it on or glue it on with liquid nails or something like it. There is also a hole marked in the top corner to use one of the hood hinges to secure the top rear corner of the kick panel to the truck. You can also use 1/8" paneling to make them out of too if you cant find ABS plastic.
Sorry for the delay, we've been crazy busy these last few weeks. Everyone wants theirs intime for CHRISTmas. This time of the year is so busy for us and kind of crazy too.
Very cool. Do not forget your return address someplace on or in envelope. Your return package awaits. Thanks again. Have a safe and happy new year,
Jon
Kick panel patterns are in the mail!! When you get them, you'll see a small hole in the top corner of the pattern. This hole is to be used IF you still have the original hood hinge bolts, either through a block off cover, or using a roller that bolts in place of the original hood hinge. You'll have to make the hole bigger, but you get the picture, you just punch the hole and when you install the kickpanel, you can use a nut and washer to hold the upper corner.
If you have any questions, email me, also let me know if you'd like a doorpanel pattern, I'm workin on a master pattern for '56's right now.
The mailgirl (wifee) brought mine today on her break. Thanks. Nice little sidenotes on the back. Thanks again. There is a return box headed your way also via Snailmail. Must support the slackers and perpetuate my wifee's job. The build pics are in there too.

You are very welcome, I wanted to tell you and the rest, that the patterns are made allowing clearance for carpet with padding, and a padded covered firewall. You might want to "tweak" them when you make the real ones if you don't have enough padding or there is a differance? Also I noticed after I had already sent them, that the truck I made them from, had a CPP hood flip kit on it, and the guy installed the hinge cover upside down and backwards! So the hole I made in the panel might not be in the right place as I intended? You might want to make that pattern into a good cardboard pattern and then go from there.
I hope they help! I'm workin on the door panel patterns, I think I have them refined also! Thanks CIAF for the "care package" although I didn't expect anything in return. I just love to help fellow FTE truckers!!
