rear spring spacer
I have a 1987 f150 4x4 I6 4sp. I notice that there is 2'' spacer between the rear spring and the axle housing. Would there be any adverse effect on the drive
line or anything else if I remove these spacer and thus bringing the rear down? Thanks for any information.

That is a rear lift block used on 4x4s.
I would say there would be less problems than lifting the truck 8 inches.
Why are you planning to do this? Are you going to lower the front as well?
Or are you trying to level the stance of the truck?
