heu guys, i know this has *** up many times, but because i'm still on dial up it seems easier to ask, plus things change so often it may have changed.
is anyone making a one peice forged dropped i beam for the 53 -56 or alternatly, dropped stub axles.
i am trying to resist fitting a IFS under the 56 because of how original it looks, but even with new front springs, i don't think i could get the front tyre level with the edge of the fender and if i flip the rear onto the top of the spring pack, the rear will need to b raised to level the truck.
if stubs r available i could use a combo of springs( this will allow me to move the centre bolt to centre the wheels in the opening) and stubs/axle, to end up with a safe truck that looks cool.

There are several sources for the dropped i-beam, I have seen 3" and 4" dropped, typically about $350 plus core. Classic Performance is one source and others sell them as well. I have not seen any dropped spindles so not sure if they are available.
