I am installing new head gaskets on my '88 F-350 and both of the gaskets in the kit are the same. If I put the end marked front to the front one has the metal strips between the cylinders up and the other is down. Does this make a difference in sealing the heads?
Thats wierd. I know when I did them on my 351W, the metal rings were up on both sides. You have got a funcky package. Id recheck with your parts store.
