My climate control has not been functioning well. When I have it set at 70 degrees the heat blows out like a mad man. It has to be 80 in the cab before i manually shut it down. I finally removed the stereo face plate, ash tray and checked the air intake tube that connects just to the right of the ignition key hole. The tube was disconnected to the temperature reader. To boot, its also the same thing that has been causing a real annoying rattling noise in my cab. Man it feels good to solve a rattle.

I can't stand rattles.

 

Thanks for the info. Mine was acting up the other day. I will look at the tube.
