When driving around with my hubs locked or when its in 4wd without the hubs locked i hear a clicking in the front end the hubs are new and so is the driveshaft i cant seem to figure it out because the 4wd works. btw the front axle is a dana 60 with a 4.10 posi. any ideas would be awesome
btw i forgot to mention last week when i had the front driveshaft out the truck stoped clicking wehn the hubs where locked and in 4wd without the drive shaft. is it possible that its somehting bad in the t-case that only happens when theres a load on it?
ahh...it could very well be just from the angle on the driveshaft ujoints....i know with a six inch lift your getting close to the max angle on those joints.....i used to have problems with those on mine. Still i'd check out the axle shaft joints....
It could be the shaft joints, but, I would double check that you put the hubs together correctly and the spring and spacers (bearings) and cam are correctly positioned.
I had a clicking before in my truck and it turned out when I swapped to Mile Marker I didn't line things up correctly and once I disassembled the hub the clicking went away.
