Tranny Shop
Looking for a good builder in the Phoenix AZ area. I may have to replace the tranny in my 01 F250 7.3. My truck is a daily driver and I also tow a 11,000 lb boat. If I can find a good local guy that can beef up a new tranny I'm sure it would be cheaper. If I stay local, what should I have him do... valve body and TC upgrade, anything else? Also interested in BTS or John Woods but have no idea what they cost. I plan on putting in a DP Tuner as well. Any help would be most appreciated as the truck is in the shop as we speak.

In case anyone wants to know, I went with Denny's Transmissions. I got my tranny beefed up with a triple clutch-billet T.C. and a Superior Shift valve body. Hopefully all will be great. Two year/30K mile warranty. I'll keep you posted, should be ready on the 7th.
