The 03's and some 04's had some issues with the new motor roll out. The later models had these kinks worked out. I've got 6 06's & 1 07 along with 1 06 cummins. I had 1 F250 taken down by a squirrel getting into the wiring and another taken out by a puddle of water (hydroplaned into a guardrail) but other than that no problems. The cummins has been towed twice. Once for a lift pump and once for a radiator issue.

I have got a 05 no problem pulling anything just make sure you get an oasis report, and if that turns out good you should be fine. The superduty is way more of a pickup than a dodge, the motor is the only good thing about them
