you guys probably get this question all the time

I am looking for an exhaust uprgade for my 95 5.0 f150. I am looking for better power and better sound. I plan on slowly upgrading a little at a time. I hear some brands have exhaust systems that fit the oem exhaust and you can upgrade bit by bit. I am just looking for a middle of the road system that reflects that in the price.

thanks

Cut it off and then build from there. Better to weld new stuff on as you go than have to keep chopping up your welds to add/change your system. Watch yourself with the cats if you live in an emissions testing area...

just my opinion, my 1995 with a 302 "s muffler and the cat under the cab had holes in them loud and was sick sounding its been straights for a year but i got a flowmaster super40 welded where the 1st cat used to be and a turndown right past the cab, sounds real good.still has another cat with a heat shield up closer to motor, but ive had glasspacks, thrush turbo tubes, and a afterburner turbo from oreilys on my old bronco and the flow sounds way better to me.on the f150.
