Getting new shocks

Im finally getting some new shocks for my 2000 X. What brands do you guys like to use? Im staying stock height and am looking for a good riding shock for driving mostly on pavement.

I like the Bilsteins I have on mine, but can only compare them to the crappy OEM shocks, so I'm not sure how valuable my opinion would be.

I had the Ranchos on my '01, and now have the Bilsteins on my '05. The Bilsteins give a bouncier ride, and I'm switching back to the Ranchos.

just put the new rancho rs9000XL's on mine. they are adjustable w/ ***** on the shock bodys so you can tune them from limosine to log wagon and anywhere in between.

I second the Rancho RS9000's however mine are the old ones as the XL's are the new Rancho design. I like the adjustability of the Rancho's Smooth as a Lincoln Town car.
If you do get them don't tell your friends as they staggered my settings once and scared me something silly.
Rich.
