Installing seat covers
I am trying to install some seat covers to back seat of 2006 F-150 Supercrew. The seat covers are supposed to slip over the back of the seat but there is no room behind the seat. Is there any way to remove or loosen the back to slide seat cover behind it? The rear seats flip up but the back does not flip down.

There are (were) at least 2 different articles posted on this site for the '04 - '06 SCrews. One was from a gentleman at KDC Auto Sound. He had real pictures and it worked a boat-load better than the pix in the shop manual. Basically, you have to uncover the seatbelt "tower" on top of the rear seat, unbolt the tower, use a pin or something narrow to undo the seatbelt connector and then reach between the seat back and seat bottom at the 1/3rd points and move the two (one each side) levers and work the seat back UP off of the mounting brackets. It can try your patience and skin loss. Good Luck!
P.S. - I marked the areas of the lower latches with electrical tape so I can find them again faster.
