i like the 1960's and early-mid 70's Ford Econolines. and i like the 86 and down f series. i espically like the 73-79 that have the turn signal above the head lights
I am fond of all ford truck really. Even the new 2008's. My favorite however is 87-97 F-series and 1978-1979 F-series. My trucks are a 1989 F-350 dually centruion 4x4 crewcab conversion, 7.3 IDI Diesel w/ Banks Sidewinder, 5" straight pipe stacks, custom front and rear bumpers. It is an awesome truck. On November 30th, I bought a 1979 F-250 that I am fixing up right now. I really liked them and the 78-79 Might just be my favorites.
I'd have to say my favorites in stock form are the 92-96 F150s. If you were to change out factory wheels to something different and add a push bar and some bigger tires then the 78-79 F150 really look cool. I also like the looks of the 82-86 F150s. But if I were offered the chance to buy any of them brand new from the factory I'd have to go with the 92-96 F150s.
92-96 for sure, along with 73-78 round headlights are the way to go. 55 f-100, any ford truck with a flatty. 97 crew 4x4 diesel. 98-03 superduty crew 4x4 long bed diesel. well actually as long as its a ford its good in my book.
05-07 Super Duties. I liked the big bars in the grille, and you add some 35s so the stance fits the body. Plus I have to look at one every morning in the driveway, so it kinda grows on you. Before that the late 80s early 90s body style (86 to 97?) that was boxy and squared off. My dad had a Bronco from the last year they made them that was a NASty green color, but I learned to drive on it, and that was a looong clutch when you're five feet tall.
92-96 are my favorite. I would love to have a lightning also. I think they are 2 of the best looking F150s they made. I would say the 70s F150 were the best looking and best drivetrain.
79 is the last year I really like. Although 95-97 F-350 crew cabs w/ 7.3's in them are very nice too.
If I could, I want a 59 or 60 F-250 4x4. THAT would be awesome.
