ABS problem?
The problem is on ice or snow mostly, but occasionally on dry roads. It happens when I apply the brakes very hard on dry roads or firmly on ice or snow. What happens is a loud and vegerous shudder from the drivers side front wheel. I had a local brake shop check it out and they told me rotors were bad,so I put on new Cryo slotted rotors and Powerstop pads. Then I had the brake system flushed and new fluid put in. Just got new snow and it still does it. I know everything was installed correctly. But I'm stumped as to what else could be the problem. Possibly something with the ABS? And no the light is not on and does not come on.

When you did the front brakes...did you also do the Caliper Slide Pins? If no, then here is an excellent link with a step-by-step with pics.
