fan problem
i have a bent fan blade on my 98 f-150 and i was wondering how bad it would mess it up if i left it on or should i remove the entire fan and if so how do i remove it it has a clutch and spins when i try to loosen it.......thanks

If it is bent very much it could throw the whole assembly out of balance and would ruin the water pump eventually. You have to either rent/buy a fan clutch removal kit. They have a big wrench that fits over the pulley bolts and keep it from spinning while you use another wrench to pull the fan and clutch off. It would be a good time to install some electric fans since the old manual fan would be coming off.
