Tailgate trim: How does it attach?

Referring to this thread.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/6...ks-had-it.html

I picked up a used piece for $45 on the eBay.

Yes I could have gotten #2 quality Dennis Carpenters, but I am very fearful of buying new trim for my truck... If one piece is new, then soon EVERYTHING will be new, because the new trim would look out of place. At least everything is evenly weathered

So..

How does it attach exactly? Special hardware? What all do I need to do to my tailgate to get this on?

I felt this deserved a new thread, Sorry if you feel otherwise.

The other thread shows a picture, so I typed the info there.

A picture is worth a 1000 words.

Having the info under the picture helps those that are unfamilar with this panel.

Sorry if you feel otherwise.
