Moon roof problem
Here is the problem: If the solid part under the glass is pushed back with too much force, it knocks a 'brace' loose that helps with moving the opaque part and keeping it from being pushed too far back. When this happens, the 'brace' slides freely forward and backward when stopping and starting.
Here are some pics that I will attempt to explain a little further:
In this picture you can see the glass of the moon roof opened and two pieces I think are involved. I have drawn a yellow line to where I think the two are somehow joined. The item on the right of the line is the 'brace' that runs from the drivers side tot he passengers side.

This picture shows the same but you can see at the bottom of the aperture a screw that acts as a stopper for the brace. I have tried tightening the screw but it squeezes the brace out if tightened too hard.

My question is: Am I missing a part that should hold it together? It looks like something should like the holes at the ends of the line in the picture:
