new ford 6.2 will be about 425/425 in 2v sohc form.
there are plans for gttdi, dohc, 4v, other versions too. 7.0liter version of this engine made 700 hp when tuned in a mustang at the track.. again with 2v, sohc, 2plugs per cylinder.
from what i hear the gttdi version (or ecoboost as they're calling it now) will be offered as a high tq alternative to diesels in the superdutys.. they're just a chip away from eating anything out there alive.
thats just what i've gather reading various websites, some of it could be off a bit or wrong all together.

Either way, the HEMI still manges to out power and out torque the 5.4.

I owned a Nissan Titan and hated it. Its the only vehicle I can say I have been scared to drive in snow, trying to keep it in one lane was nearly impossible. It towed poorly, our 16 foot flat bed towing a VW rabbit pushed it in every direction. Power was ok, there was a huge drop from unloaded tho, and it seemed like the suspension just couldnt handle it, I can say I wouldn't want to tow a big camper with one. and going over dirt or rough roads with it made it seem cheap, the whole truck seemed to shake and rattle and it bounced every were.
