I know that the boots are dirty seems to be oily. I would say that i am close to 1250 my sensor is behind the turbo I usually try to keep it below 1000 because I heard that the actual temp is 200 to 300 degress hotter infront of the turbo. What is the max temp to run the turbo at I heard 1270? How many lbs do you think I should be at and I dont know if it maters but i dont have a boost gauge it is a manifold pressure gauge the chip is a bully dog 4 bank 6 position the noise is preasant in all settings but really noticable in the 100 hp setting

That is the same thing as a boost gauge. My gauge takes the reading from the AIH delete on the intake spider or x pipe or whatever you want to call it. Bottom line, chipped blades are not good in the compressor wheel. How bad is it?
The 1000* you are using for a max is probably close on a post turbo setting. Your numbers are a little low on you boost and high on you EGTs. Most likely from a boost leak as already stated. The sound you are hearing is most likely the leak itself. Check you up pipes from the exhaust manifold to the turbo for signs of leaking. Should be easy to see, soot around the leak. If you can get a good picture of the blade on the turbo, it would help us in knowing what we're dealing with. Anything other that nice, clean and shape and your loosing power. Anymore discription of the noise you are hearing may help as well.
I check the boots this morning and the hose clamp on the one under the turbo was loose it took care of the noise and I got 25 lbs out of it. About the temp it still is running a little hot. What should the temp be at? I will try to post them pic asap
glad to hear you got it..you may want to tighten the other clamps too..if you are talking about EGT's running 65MPH ill run about 650 to 750..a hard run ill get 1250 out of it.1250 is safe if your reading before the turbo...but know higher..
With 25lbs of boost and stock exhaust, your gonna be hot. Like I said earlier, 1000* post turbo would be my max. The ones that have both temp readings seem to kinda agree that there is around 300* differance. So that would put you at 1300* give or take. That is the max and only for short periods of time. 900* post turbo would be safer. Open up that exhaust and cool things down.
look up the walker big truck muffler...they have a 3.5 " inlet and outlet that will just require you to cut the muffler out and slide it in...i haven't had a problem with egt's yet...if you poke around online you can find the install instructions
