The best place is on the frame. I did mine under the passenger seat on the outside of the frame. Works perfect nothing is there and the only thing you have to do is figure out how not to drill into your frame. You need to make a bracket or line it up with the holes that are already on the truck other then that just get ya some good bolts and put her on. I think you will find that this is where most people put theirs is on the frame.
