Programming remote entry
I have a 96 F-250 XLT .I bought it used it did not come with the key fob for the keyless entry. I got one for Christmas and am trying to find out how to program it. The instructions say to 1. Turn ignition to run or acc. 2. Momentarily jump pins in the programming connector located at the base of the steering column.All doors will lock then unlock to confirm program. This is the part I'm having trouble with. Not sure which connector under the column they're referring to. Any one have pic of this ? How did you jump the wires ? Thanks

Im not sure on what plug you need, but 2 jump the connector you need a peice of wire or a paper clip. When you find out what connector it is just use the wire or clip to touch the 2 pins together.
