i have a 2006 f250 extended cab short bed. 6.0l diesel. silverline exhaust. i recently replaced my stock airfilter, and replaced the fuel filters. i run 33" tires. lately ive been getting some crappy fuel mileage. i dont have the gauge to tell me the exact fuel mileage (idiot gauge). you guys have any ideas to help this problem. plus its about 33 degrees here in new york, could that effect it?
Have basically the same truck but an 05. I get 10 pulling the trailer and 14 to 16 depending on how I drive the truck. It seems a little less in the winter I think because of some changes in the winter fuel. What are you getting?
ULSD and winter fuel both have caused a drop in mileage by themselves. Now your running both of them together. What kind of mileage (hand calculated) did you get before? And what are you getting now? This will help us figure out which direction to look. If you've never calculated mileage, do you have any idea how many miles you used to drive between fill ups?
