Programming new remote.
I received a new keyless entry remote for Christmas. I'm trying to program it for my truck. It had it from the factory,but I never got a remote from PO. I got instructions from www.programyourremote.com. It says to 1. Turn ignition to run or ACC . 2. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located at base of sterring column. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm program. I went out to do this,but am not sure where the programming connector is exactly with all the wires and connectors under the steering column. Does anyone have a pic of what I'm looking for ? Which wires am I jumping ? Thanks

For Model Years 1995-97: Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN/ACC five (5) times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN/ACC, or cycle the ignition from OFF to START three (3) times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN. The power door locks should cycle LOCK to UNLOCK to confirm entrance into Program Mode.
For Model Year 1998 (Windstar/Escort/Tracer/Navigator): Cycle the ignition from OFF to RUN/ACC eight (8) times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN/ACC, or cycle the ignition from OFF to START four (4) times within 10 seconds, ending in RUN. The power door locks should cycle LOCK to UNLOCK to confirm entrance into Program Mode.
Press any button on a remote entry transmitter. The power door locks should cycle LOCK then UNLOCK to acknowledge transmitter code.
Repeat Step 2 for any additional remote entry transmitters that need to be programmed to the vehicle.
Turn the ignition switch to OFF to exit Program Mode. To confirm Program Mode has been exited, the power door locks will cycle LOCK then UNLOCK one last time.
