So here the deal. I currently living in the Seattle area and I am running Les Schwab Mud Terrain SXT (315/75R16) tire. I can't say enough good things about these tires. I am a Navy guy and I will be moving to Texas. Les Schwab tire are not available down there and I need to purchase a full size spare before I make the trip. I am looking at other brands so that when it is time to replace them, I can get a five tire rotation going. I was thinking about the BFGoodrich A/T KO. What do you all think?
If you are happy with the Schwab SXT's, you may want to look at what Cooper (or one of its off brands) has to offer since they are the manufacturers of the Schwab SXT's.

That is incorrect. Les Schwab makes their own tires in Prineville OR at the Les Schwab plant. They do not rebrand tires from other sources.
You can purchase other brands at a Les Schwab store (like Avon) but a Schwab tire is made on Prineville at the tire plant.

You could be right, but the Mud Terrain SXT that is shown on Schwab's site appears to be the same exact tire as the Dean Mud Terrain Radial SXT which is made by Cooper.

Cooper makes tires sold by Les Schwab, but I don't know if they are Les Scwab branded. I was looking at a tire, sold at Wal-Mart, Big-O, and Schwab and they were all made by Cooper. I think it was a Big-O Bigfoot MT or something, but I can't remember now. Anyway, Cooper made the same tire for multiple vendors, branded with that vendor's name. I think Schwab was one of them...
I checked out the Coopers, Dean, BFG, Big O, Discount Tire, ect.. It looks like the BFG will be the only one easily accessible in the Dallas area. Does anyone have the new BFG Mud Terrain T/A KM2. I use my truck as a daily driver, pull a 20' boat with it but like to go play as well.
