I have a 1997 3 door 4x4 4.6.
My vin number indicates I have a windsor 4.6 not a Romeo 4.6. What is the difference. The sticker located on the drivers side door striker side indicates 19 in the axle column. Is there anyway to know the ratio in the rear end without locating the tag underneath the truck. Thanks in advance for any help.
Thanks so much. I now know I have a Romeo engine and the external as well as the internal differences. Thanks for saving me from crawling underneath and looking for the tag. One more question. Is there a difference in reliability in the two engines. I am always amazed at the people on this forum and the information you can find here. I used to own a 1988 F150 and had it for about 15 years. I was a member of this site and always found people more than helpful. Merry Christmas
