Unhappy Please help me ..

I could sure use some help... I hahe a 03 superduty diesel with the 6.0, yesterday when im got off the freeway i noticed my trans temp on the cluster indicating to red and my tow and haul light coming on and off..It was also bouncing back to normal and back up to hot... I have another trans temp on the pillar and that one was reading normal. The truck was shifting normal and it did not smell like burned oil.. Does the torqshift have a heat sensor that could have gone bad?? Please help me.. "Happy Holidays".

Yes, the temp sensor that signals the factory gauge also sends the info to the PCM/TCM. Could be a bad sensor or wire chaffed etc.
