never let my idiot sister borrow your van

did anyone happen to witness this? the result of going about 80 mph on interstate 280, between kimberly and I80, and yaking on the damn cellphone. spun it out, some how, and put it in the ditch.

called triple A and they got it yanked out. its my grandpas beloved Chysler Town and Country, thankgod she didnt manage to break anything. usally how it works around here, she breaks the car and i fix it, fricken female drivers.

I wasn't anywhere near there, but glad everyone, and the van, are ok. Maybe she learned a lesson?

Coulda been worse! I watched a minivan get plowed on I-80 by a semi couple a weeks ago right outside UPS. Driver was OK. Found out the next day (our mechanic has a trooper friend) the driver was 92 yrs old and was slowing to make a U-turn. Looked to me like the semi was going about 50+ mph faster than the van when it hit.

yeah, shes terrible behind the wheel.

she manged to run that same van into the side of my garage, she ran my moms buick into the garage door, backed my moms buick into the neighbors car accross the street. she ran a rental car into a parked car on the street.

its like she has no depth perseption [spelling], shes pulled into spots at the store and ran into the car infront of her. shes ran her old car into the back of my truck trying to park in our driveway.

god help us all when she's on the street.

Hell I won't even let my WIFE drive MY truck..........

Looks like you shouldn't let your sister drive any of your family's rolling stock, either.

Your sister sounds a lot like my gf. She thinks in one foot of snow, pouring rain, or dry weather she can stop 10 feet from the stop sign or inches from a persons bumper. She drives a damn honda too so I got her talked into getting a real american car next time. Got a kid comming so trying to get her to get something badass/family like.

that sounds just like my sister. the only difference is that she totalled my explorer. roled it on its side. but now i am going to chop the top rear off and stick a roll bar and and put some bared tires on it for a play toy.

I've got a friend with one good eye and he doesn't have much of a problem with depth perception when he's driving (when he's sobber!) Not sure I'd stand behind him while he's backing though. Seems kinda ironic that he's a surveyor.

Hey I hear the army has some good used tanks for sell. At least driving one of those might keep her alive a little longer. The problem is what she might do to the rest of the drivers around her. LOL

Combine would be pretty sweet. We have a couple sitting out the fields but thats about all they are good for. If she got a tank I would have borrow that thing for...research.

At least she's living in the right area. Seems a lot of people around here are terrible drivers. I'm starting to wonder if the requirements to obtain a license here has gone down to the point where if you can spell your name properly, you pass the driving test.

Actually, I take that back. Some people around here can't even manage that without help!
