Hey Folks,
I got a hold of a wrecking yard of sorts the other day because I'm gonna do the bronco tank swap. The guy said he has several early 90s ford trucks as well as Broncos to part out. While I'm out there I would like to look for a donor truck to do a manuel trans swap.
My question is, how do I make sure I am getting a ZF tranny? I need some kind of quick identifying feature so I know what to look for.
Most all F250-350 have them and a few 87ish F150 also
If jamb sticker is there will have a "C" under tranny.
Other than that they r just huge . Look at F150 it will have the Mazda trany and they r common. You can tell a ZF at 50 ft after that .good luck
