Those of you who have installed leveling blocks on the front, does the rear end squat very much when towing a trailer. I like the looks of the trucks with the blocks but I tow a 7800 lbs camper. Just wondering.
Yes, with 7K+ pounds on the rear, the truck will squate a good bit.
I tow just under 7K and have a 2" leveling kit. IT does have the squated look when towing, but not too too bad....
I also don't tow a lot, so figured have the look of a squated truck everyonce in a while wouldn't be as bad as haveing the front end drag the ground every day.
The 1.5" would be a good option, and the 2" would be the biggest I'd go if you tow often, unless you plan on putting a add a leaf in the rear.
I just mentioned in another thread (Truck Christmas present) that I just installed Firestone RideRite #2350 airbags. They were $220 plus $15 shipping from performance suspension on ebay.
I have a Truxx leveling kit in the front, and I really like the look of a leveled truck. But once you put substantial weight in the back (either towing or hauling), the sagging is not good. So, I figured in those cases, I'd just shoot some air in the bags to bring her back to level!
