i have an 03 superduty with 2007 front grille header panel and hd superduty headlights on it with minor mods everything lines up. i used a 99 xl bumper painted to match for personal preference. no cladding on it. for the haedlamps i bought the newer style harness for headlamps an wired it in. simple and easy. i'll try to post pics this week. another cool mod is the 2008 mirrors
If by latest you mean the 2008 trucks, It might be able to be done, but I do not know of anyone that has done it yet. It is a very simple matter to put a 2007 front end on. It is simply a matter of swapping the header panel, grill, headlights, bumper, and headlight wiring harness. All of the newer components bolt to the same basic inner structure that has been used on the superduty since 1999. The 2008 trucks have not only a new outer shell, but a new inner support structure. To attach on 08 front end to an older truck would require welding the 08 inner supports to the cab as well as installing the 08 style radiator core support. In theory, it can all be fabbed up because the cab from the front clip back is very similar to the older trucks, but it would be VERY difficult and time consuming.
