TSB Question
I just purchased a used 2004, F150 supercab (new body style) and every now and then when driving it seems like the driveshaft makes a slip-bump sound when moving.
I've found a TSB: "driveshaft slip-bump on deceleration or acceleration from a stop"
This sounds like the problem so I'm going to get the truck into the dealer however the TSB says" WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage" But my truck doesn't have any factory warranty left. So if this is found to be the cause will I have to pay for the repair myself?
Thanks,
Krazy
***Regardless of my response, after reading this you should definitely take it to your dealership and see what they can do for ya and then post your results*** Good Luck and welcome to FTE...This is a great site where you can find an answer to almost any ford truck related question.
