Hey gang

Hi everyone. I am new here. I have a 2000 F-150 XLT 4X4 5.4L. I bought the truck used back in 02 with about 32,000 miles on it. It has been a great truck. No problems whatsoever. It has about 94,000 on it now and gets regular maintenance by me using Ford parts and I run synthetic oil. I also don't abuse the truck, I actually drive it pretty reserved. I think this has been key to it being so dependable. Lately it has been sitting alot, it is my second ride, and I used it the other day on a short errand and on the way home it developed the dreaded miss, throwing the service engine light almost immediately. I am going to scan it this weekend and because of this fantastic site, I already know what to expect. I just hope I don't have to get involved with the spark plugs. YO FORD, WHATS UP WITH THAT!!!! Anyway, I will let everyone know how it goes. Thanks alot and MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!! Bruce.

Hi and welcome and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, best wishes in 2008 to you too Bruce.
Hope you find the source of your truck`s problem and that it turns out out to be a very minor one.
Be sure to visit and post your intro in the Pa chapter soon.
